Helping Personal Injury Attorneys Win Big with Better Care and Bulletproof Documentation
Here’s how we help you
We understand what attorneys and insurance companies need to reach policy limits. Our reports are detailed, timely, and tailored to support your case from day one through settlement. Sheridan Chiropractic notates thorough records that clearly illustrate injury severity, causality, and long-term impact.
We use advanced diagnostic protocols such as SpineCAMP to measure spinal instability and HEALIX to test for mild traumatic brain injury.
Insurance companies typically cite low change in velocity (low-speed impacts with minimal property damage) to support their side of the argument. This is only one of the 14 factors for determining possible injury severity. We also document:
- Were their defenses up?
- Were their joints locked out?
- Whiplash effect
- Were they wearing their safety belt?
- Was the headrest up?
- What was the vehicle weight differential?
- What is the car's safety rating?
- Was the road surface wet/slippery?
- Was the vehicle stopped or moving?
- Was their foot on the brake?
- Did airbags deploy? Which ones?
- Were they grabbing onto the steering wheel?
- What is the firmness of the interior material that their body impacted?
- Rebound impact (how many hits did they experience)?
Documenting the additional injury magnifiers minimizes the low-delta velocity argument while justifying significant injury at low impact with low property damage.
Sheridan Chiropractic utilizes SpineCAMP (Spinal Computerized Analysis of Motion Patterns) to perform instability assessments on flexion/extension X-rays of the neck and low back.
As the spine flexes and extends, there is a certain amount of angular change that a normal, healthy spine exhibits. The SpineCAMP analysis measures actual degrees of movement to see if the spine is flexing and extending more than it should, signifying ligamentous injury. The spinal segments should also remain aligned to a certain degree, and if they shift forward or backwards with the flexion/extension imaging it is further objective evidence of connective ligament injury.
Standard AP and lateral X-rays may look like they exhibit close to normal anatomy, but the flexion/extension imaging provides a dynamic example of just how much instability exists within a joint.
These finding are clear, defensible, and useful for both settlement discussions and litigation.
In relevant cases, we provide mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) screening using HEALIX, a non-invasive, legally admissible tool designed to identify post-concussive deficits often overlooked in urgent care or ER settings. This protocol allows us to detect cognitive symptoms such as difficulty concentrating, memory loss, emotional dysregulation, and sleep disturbances which are often critical to the client’s functional impact and case value.
Our patient communication model helps clients understand their injuries and the importance of consistent care. These educational touchpoints:
We don’t just document injuries—we educate and empower patients to become excellent participants in their recovery and in your case.
